I like seeing work with attitude…I stumbled upon Matt Burden’s work ages ago and it certainly has bucket loads of attitude, a few naughty words and plenty of disturbing imagery…I love it

These quick test animations were developed a few months ago, but I have only just got around to uploading, I will perhaps try and develop some of this more if I get the time…

Some fantastic personal photography projects here by Tom Robinson, that were just shouting out to be posted. The first few photos are part of a beautiful observational project called ‘Feet First’ where Robinson photographs his and his partners feet in the locations they have visited across the world.
I have also discovered they are expecting a child so will be joined by a third set of feet, making it an interesting narrative for the family and their travels!
“I decided to photograph the reactions of my friends and family when I told them my good news – I’m going to be a dad!”

This is a really nice piece of experimental interactive design. I think it works best when left to it’s own devices.
I suppose this is one way to use up all the junk we accumulate over the years!

Jordi Parra created this Spotify Player which turns the digital music experience back to a more tangible experience. It’s an interesting approach to how we approach music nowdays.
“I’m interested in the way music industry is evolving,” Parra told Wired.co.uk, “and I really miss not being able to physically share music the way we used to a few years ago.” So he put together a player that plays tracks on Spotify chosen by tokens containing RFID tags. Each token represents a particular album or playlist, and placing it on the player immediately begins playback.

I understand this has done the rounds at various digital festivals but It’s not very often I see something that leaves me in shock at how brilliant some people’s imaginations can be. ‘The External World’ is an impressive 17 minute animation with some of the funniest, darkest, most twisted characters I have ever seen.
On another note I had a great night at OneDotZero Shane Walter’s D&AD lecture yesterday and felt encouraged and inspired by how much can be achieved by one person’s vision.
